Ethereal / Dreamy Artist to Vibe to

I'm not sure if you guys have been keeping up with new/ underground hip-hop artists but

it's time you let me put you on! I've been in need, desperately of new music, but not just any

music, I wanted music that really touched me. I wanted chills on my arms when I heard that

beat drop, frequencies that make my imagination run wild, I need that spiritual stuff.

This need for change in the kind of music I listened to happened after I accidentally

discovered the rap duo Oshun which was inspired by Afro-spiritualism. They had one song

“Blessings on Blessings” that I had on repeat for months. This song is actually how I started

my journey into learning more about afro-spiritualism, the practices of my people.

So hunting for this same kind of vibe, I decided to use TikTok. When you really want to find

something especially in a certain subcategory, searching TikTok hashtags is literally golden.

Instagram, which has the same feature but isn't as good, and of course, youtube, While on my

search I came across a few new/ underground artists that really captured the vibe I was

searching for. That ethereal, spiritual dreamy vibe.

Iniko was one of the first that I came across. They are a non-binary artist who makes the

most magical music I have ever heard. Their style is impeccable but nothing compares to their

voice and the way they put harmonies together to create this tenuous vibe. I'm talking, pack a

bowl put them on repeat, and just CHILL. I definitely recommend checking out their tracks

“Motion” and “Caught a Body” are both on Spotify and Youtube for streaming. They also

post covers/ reimagined versions of songs where they change the entire vibe making it so

amazingly dreamy. Definitely check them out.

I also discovered an artist called Zilo through one of her songs “On a Wave”. It captures that

high energy, high vibrational vibe. I definitely associate it with just feeling uplifted and in a

dream-like state of being. She is an artist from London who just loves poetry and painting. She

is honestly so sweet and I definitely recommend following her Instagram and youtube channel.

She is one of those artists that you can listen to with no skips.

One of the last artists that I really wanted to talk about is Nemisye. They are a queer, non-

binary lofi artist with a jazz vibe that really GIVES what needs to be GAVE. The first song I

heard by them was called the Interlude when they were using their artist name EzzytheNinja.

This song BOPS! If you're looking for that feeling like you're in love, not with anyone or

anything in particular, just life, that song is it! The song they currently have out “I am

Nemisye” is equally a bop. It definitely makes me want to roll up a blunt and chill out for the

rest of my day.

These are just some of the artists I found who I actually listen to consistently. They just give

the spiritual, ethereal, dreamy vibe that my soul craves and really makes me feel higher in

vibration the more I listen to them and artists that capture that vibe. I hope you guys do decide

to check them out, follow, and leave your support! Thank me later. Byeeeeee.

Love & Hip-Hop TEA: Is Erica Wrong for Grinding on Safaree??

For those of you who have no idea who these people are, let me help you out. Erica Mena is a reality tv star and former video actress. She is most known for her appearances in Love and hip-hop new york and was the former fiance of rapper Bow Wow before becoming wife to Safaree Samuels back in 2019. He joined the cast of "Love and hip hop Hollywood" in 2016 then in 2017 moved back to his hometown of New York City and joined the cast of "Love and hip hop New York". This is obviously how they met and started dating before it went public on the show.  Now, they have since divorced due to problems within their marriage. A lot of it h...

Real Housewives of Dubai, Card B hosts American Music Awards, Summer Walker "Still Over it"

What has been going on? November just started and so far, I wouldn't say we are off to the smoothest start, but is that any different from literally every month in this god-forsaken year so far? No. Right now, there are some actually serious things happening in the world and it's honestly so stressful to see all the time, so, I thought I'd let you guys know about some light-hearted, fun, drama that's been happening to kinda take our minds off the more serious things going on. If only for a few minutes. At the beginning of this month, American tv talk show host, and executive producer of the “Real Housewives” series Andy Cohen announced a new show titled, “The real housewives of Dubai” and for my lovers of reality tv, you're definitely gonna want to tune in. The show, which is said to drop in 2022, will be bigger, and more extravagant than ever before. It’ll display the lives of extremely wealthy housewives and how they navigate their relat...
